Doctors of the Mobile Clinic of Osh Interregional Hospital Have Examined 45 Thousand People

The Russian Technical Assistance Programme to fight HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases in Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries

The mobile clinic of Osh interregional clinical hospital continues its work in rural territory of Kara-Tash Nookatsk district. According to Shairbek Sulaimanov, Director of Oblast hospital, in first part of 2016 the medical team of the mobile clinic has examined 45 thousand people.

 “Visiting mountainous and remoted areas and provide prevention examination of people living in remoted villages of Osh Oblast has become more efficient thanks to the mobile clinic provided by AIDS Infoshare Foundation, supporting combat with AIDS and other infectious diseases”, said Shairbek Sulaimanov.

Irina Kostetskaya, Deputy Director of AIDS Infoshare Foundation and Alexey Sokolov, Head of regional projects of the Foundation has come from Moscow to learn the operation of the mobile clinic in rural area of Osh Oblast better.

 “Getting diagnostics closer to population allows to increase the quality of medical services substantially. It helps to diagnose systemic diseases as well as infectious diseases, including socially minded diseases like HIV, TB, Hepatitis and Syphilis”, emphasised Mr. Sulaimanov.
