AIDS Infoshare Foundation Has Received an Official Message of Thanks From People of Issyk- Kul Oblast

The Russian Technical Assistance Programme to fight HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases in Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries

People of Tuura-Suu village of Tonsk district of Issyk-Kul Oblast of Kyrgyzstan has sent a Letter of Thanks to the staff of AIDS Infoshare Foundation, who provided mobile diagnostics and treatment unit for the United Hospital of Issyk-Kul Oblast.

Because of remoteness of the village from the district centre and severe climate, the majority of village people does not have an opportunity for diagnostics. Heavy rains worsen the transportation and cause difficulties with getting to the area hospital. Now, thanks to the mobile clinic, local people will have access to quality medical services. Besides, one of the goals of the mobile diagnostic unit is performing early diagnostic of infectious diseases, particularly HIV/AIDS and viral Hepatitis among vulnerable groups – migrants living in mountainous areas.
