Russia Has Passed the Mobile Diagnostic and Treatment Clinic to Issyk-Kul Oblast Hospital

The Russian Technical Assistance Programme to fight HIV/AIDS and other infectious diseases in Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries

Askhad Akhibaev, Representative of the Government in Oblast, Irina Kostetskaya, Deputy Director of AIDS Infoshare Foundation, Akexey Sokolov, Head of regional projects of AIDS Infoshare Foundation, Oleg Gorin, Deputy Minister of Health of Kyrgyzstan and Toktobai Maanaeyv, Director of Oblast Hospital participated in the official ceremony of mobile clinic handover. The clinic has been handed on to Issyk-Kul Oblast Hospital.

“Cooperation on health protection matters is an important component of collaboration. Received as a gift, this modern diagnostics and treatment unit will allow to increase the opportunities of doctors to prevent and treat diseases. But what is more important – people from remoted areas will be able to receive quality medical care timely”, said the Head of Oblast

In his turn, the Deputy Minister of Health Oleg Gorin emphasized that there were two clinics like operating in two provinces of the country.

“I believe that such clinic will help people from remoted areas of our country to receive quality medical care. Since June 2015, two clinics have been received. Today we have received the third one. First two clinics operate in Chuisk and Osh Oblasts. We surely will coordinated the activities and I think this is a steep forward to be closer to people”, said the deputy Minister.
